The best part about a blogger event is the goodie bag – that’s where I find all the latest and greatest new things to try and learn about. Sometimes I even get things sent to me in the mail to try – what a treat! In one of these fun bundles of joy I opened recently, I stumbled across a new beauty product so disturbing that I had to try it and write about it – that’s the WTF?! of this post. I’ve also tried a few new products that I absolutely loved (‘the good’) and one that was rather disappointing (the bad). Let’s talk about them today!
Fuller, longer lashes are all the rage among women right now, and there are so many different ways to get them – at so many different price points! From Drugstore D-I-Y extensions to fancy primers from Sephora to professional lash extensions applied in the salon, I’m here today to share all the different options you have at your fingertips. I’ve tried them all! And I’m gifting my favorite long-lash-method to one of you wonderful readers. Read on to learn and to enter to win!
Today is a first for Belle Meets World – I’m conducting a new product test that will happen in two parts – the first being my first impressions, initial use and before photos (YIKES!) and the second being the results 4 weeks from now after I’ve given the Solutions 24 Clinical Corrector Sticks a real go to work their supposed magic on my puffy eyes, dark circles and dark spots.
I reached a big milestone as a blogger last week – I hosted an event! As I’ve posted in the recent past (here), Sine Qua Non salons in Chicago chose me and three other local bloggers to be the faces of their new Desperate Measures campaign, as well as to help launch their new Siné line of haircare products – by throwing a party!
Eyebrows are an element of beauty that has eluded me forever. I’d get them waxed and would endlessly pluck them because that was what you did. But I’d never really paid attention to the most important parts of how to groom your eyebrows – the right placement of arches, where the brows should start and stop, and the proper fullness to best complement my face. Instead, I had a pair of uneven, incredibly thin brows that did nothing good for my features. They were an afterthought, rather than the visual guide you should look for to frame your facial features. Unacceptable! I recently set out to remedy this situation and today I’m sharing what is finally working well for me. In short, doing less gives you 100% more. Read on!
I am so excited to be one of four Chicago bloggers introducing Sine Qua Non Salon‘s Desperate Measures campaign! Sine Qua Non is one of my favorite salons here in Chicago so I jumped at the chance to participate and to spread the word to all of my friends and readers about their new monthly FREE MAKEOVER contest! Read on to learn all about the salon and services, to see our photo shoot, and to enter to win!
