WHY I WORE IT:
90 degrees calls for a striped romper; it just does.
HOW IT CAME TOGETHER:
Being a dress kind of girl, I knew this boyish romper required some accessorizing to make it work.
- The Hair: I decided on a pony to elongate my height that the romper cut off, and moved it just to the side to complement the playfulness of a romper (even the name sounds fun!). I started with a pink (my favorite color) band, but since I’m short on jewelry, I mimicked the pattern on my romper in my hair!
- The Purse: I chose my pink bucket bag from Grenada as today should be a beach day, and also to bring out the feminine pink in the romper. The emblem also nicely picked up the other colors in my romper.
- The Shoes: Well, my summer staple. And I can put them on myself. Plus, Mom said I couldn’t wear my cowboy boots – although they would have looked great.
