Hope you had a great weekend everyone!
As a follow up to last week’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale pump-you-up-shop-till-you-drop post, I’m sharing one of the awesome looks I scored for the fall season! I love fall fashion and getting a little shopping spree in July, well it’s like Christmas came early for this little fashionista. So what’s coming for fall?
OFF THE SHOULDER
Off the shoulder still seems to be going strong on the racks. I found this cute little top that is business on the bottom, party on the top that I really love. With the early access sale price, it’s around $60 and comes in a few other colors. I wouldn’t wear it to work, but I think it’s great for a date night or weekend brunch as the weather starts to cool. Plus, it’ll look good over jeans or leather leggings or maybe even tucked into a flared skirt. Definitely unique but a long-lasting piece!
FRAYED HEMS
Jeans, jeans, jeans are everywhere, of course. But most of what I saw was cut at ankle length with frayed or unique hems. I chose these Caslon jeans because there were only $50 and in a color of denim I’ve wanted for a while. I didn’t think I was into the frayed hems, but I loved them when I put them on, so hop in my cart they did!
VELVET
Remember I wanted something velvet? I think a great way to take a chance on this trend is through an inexpensive accessory. I found this little clutch for under $40 and love it. The color is awesome and will go with a lot in the fall and winter seasons. Plus, I didn’t have to over-spend to play with a fun trend!
GRAY BOOTS
Finally, the boots – under $90 and in one of my favorite colors for shoes – gray. These are faux suede and the block heel is still going strong in shoe styles for fall. Yes! Comfort! Plus, I really like that they go half way up the ankle – it’s a style I’m seeing a lot of this season.
Jeans: Caslon Frayed Hem Skinny // Top: Trouve Off The Shoulder // Boots: Halogen Gray Faux Suede // Bag: Chelsea 28 Velvet Clutch
So, ladies, if you’re still curious about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I say go for it! Early access is pretty great, but I’m 100% sure you will find some amazing items when the public sale starts this Friday, July 21st!
And now, let’s get back to our regularly scheduled programming because it’s still summer and there are plenty more summer outfits and makeups (word?) to swoon over and play with.
