THREE WAYS TO WEAR COWBOY BOOTS – MY VERSION OF FESTIVAL …

I recently traveled to New Orleans for a long weekend with friends, and I wore one pair of shoes the whole time – cowboy boots! I love wearing these boots when I’m on the go because they are really comfortable and look great with a lot of different items from your wardrobe. Plus, they are perfect for festival season if you’re looking for an alternative to the fringe-hippie trend – you can slog through the mud with these bad boys and still look stylish. So today let’s cover three ways to wear cowboy boots – with a dress, with shorts and with skinny jeans.

MY INTERVIEW WITH ALEXIS BITTAR

Saturday, April 4th was such a special day. Alexis Bittar graced Chicago’s Nordstrom shoppers with his presence and, of course, his amazing jewelry. And I, little ole’ me, got the opportunity to spend 10 sacred minutes with Alexis, interviewing him and asking him everything I’ve ever wanted to know from one of my role models. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! #pinchme.

MONEY TALKS PART 2 – WHEN TO SPLURGE

Two days ago we discussed a multitude of ways to save money while looking stylish and beautiful. Today, let’s discuss when to splurge. I’d like to share those with you today!

SPRING SHADE TREND – BLUSH AND NUDE

They’re everywhere! Blush and nude. I mean, they are basically the same color so I paired two pieces together from each shade and made a fancy dress look out of it! I’ve discovered the key to pulling off this color when you are very pale is dark accents, like these deep brown sandals, belt and sunglasses. They break up the monotony and help to call attention to good parts – like your face, waist and legs!
