BEAUTY MUST-HAVES

Best of Summer Outfits: A Retrospective – Part 3 – Workwear

And….I’ll wrap up the summer retrospective with a sampling of some of my corporate style looks from the summer. I have a lot less corporate wear than I do casual or weekend wear, so you’ll see a lot of the same staple pieces. I just changed the focal point, depending on the day.

Best of Summer Outfits: A Retrospective – Part 2

This post is like Day 2 of a warehouse sale when they bring out a whole new batch of stuff! Here are a few more of my summer favorite looks that didn’t need their own post but certainly deserve some attention before I move on to fall attire!

Best of Summer Outfits: A Retrospective – Part 1

There aren’t that many warm days left, so consider this a clearinghouse of some of my favorite looks from the summer that we can look back on when the cold of fall and winter come!

Workwear: Monochrome Monday, Two Ways

Wearing the same color from head to toe is one of my favorite looks, especially with dark blue. It’s such an eye-catching (and slimming) neutral that you can pair with complementary accessories, shoes, lip colors and hair styles.

ENCORE! Pretty in Pink – Part 5

This top was everything when I saw it on the sale rack at Top Shop for $35. But try as I might, I could not find the right thing to wear it with…until I found this raspberry leather skirt on re-sale.

Green Dress for Day and Night, Summer and Fall

The first time I saw this J.Crew print last summer, I was obsessed, but I didn’t want to spend the full price on it! Well, I’m here to tell you that good things come to those who wait. One year later, I found this dress at the J.Crew Outlet for $30 in the print I’d so coveted. Plus, I think it can transition to fall quite nicely!
