Fall is officially here in Chicago, and I couldn’t be more psyched about it! I love trench coats, boots, autumn leaves and the light at dusk. And this season, I’m also obsessed with navy blue, brown and all the neutral shades in between them, so get ready to see many more looks in that color palette!
On a recent trip to Los Angeles, I found my self struggling to find the perfect outfit for a night on the town. I’d packed a number of options, but none of my ideas worked out. Turns out I had to go back to the basics in order to find the winner – here’s what that looked like…
Since I aim to be as genuine as possible in this blog and in what I choose to wear, it is only fair that I share my fashion failures with you, as well. This dress will go down in history as quite possibly the least flattering cut and color-blocking of all time for a woman with hips.
Sure it’s the weekend, but yesterday’s work outfit was worth writing about today while I’m still on a black and white + bows kick! Plus, this top is another killer Altuzarra for Target piece I scored.
Wearing white after Labor Day is definitely a rule made for breaking. Have I mentioned I don’t like being told what not to wear? Especially when you own leopard print, open-toed booties with gigantic bows on the back.
